My mom and I are going to the Dolly Parton Diet Next week.

It’s just 7 days, of all the cabbage soup and water you want, plus:

  • DAY 1: All fruits except bananas.
  • DAY 2: All vegetables, raw or cooked. This includes baked potato with a LITTLE butter.
  • DAY 3: Fruits and vegetables, but no potatoes or bananas.
  • DAY 4: Bananas and skim milk—eat as many as 8 bananas and drink as many as 8 glasses of skim milk.
  • DAY 5: Beef, skinless chicken, and/or fish—as much as 20 ounces, total. You can also eat 6 tomatoes. And you must drink 8 glasses of water. Don’t forget at least one bowl of soup.
  • DAY 6: Beef, skinless chicken, or fish and vegetables. Drink 8 glasses of water and eat at least one bowl of soup.
  • DAY 7: Brown rice, vegetables, and unsweetened fruit juice.

You can lose up to 10 lbs in the week.  We’re doing this to jump start, and help motivate us more, and then from there, we’ll decide.

I took a look at the Dukan Diet,

And I really like its approach, and its meal plan seems like something I could follow.  I’m going to order the book, hopefully.

This is what it came up with for my true weight:

I think if I followed this plan, I could reach the 119 lbs by September 12. 

Maybe I’ll give this a go.

Hi Lauren! Why don't you try the Dukan diet? I have been on it for almost two weeks and already lost around 8 lbs. Google it and see for yourself :)

I haven't been on at all in the week that I have had this.

It’s three weeks till school is over, and I’ve been busy with end of year projects and tests, etc. 

I haven’t done p90x since last week, but I have been watching what I eat, and I jogged a mile after school about 4 days out of this whole week. 

When I weighed in this morning, I was 153.8.

That’s almost 2 pounds, and I’m really proud. Though it’s probably water weight, it gives me a boost of confidence.  Once end of year projects, tests, etc. are over with probably by the 10th, I will definitely be on here everyday, and get back to the p90x. 

Hope everyone is doing good today. :D

heyyy. my blog is the whaticoulddo.tumblr.com blog. Just a suggestion, you should weight yourself weekly or fortnightly, because weighing yourself daily, trust me, can cause dissapointment and for you to give up. but dont worry. if you keep with it. WE WILL LOSE WEIGHT. together :) and it means the numbers are higher then if you did it daily. but very happy your doing it healthily :)

My introduction: Pre-challenge 5/20/11

That is my body, or at least my stomach (that’s a temporary tattoo, and next to my belly button is a mole).  I weigh 155 lbs, while my height is a measly 5’2”.  I’m not very confident in my body, and my doctor says I need to reach a healthy weight.

My dream weight is to be 135lbs, in 3 months.  That is what I wish to accomplish, for now.

I don’t really have a definite plan, just that I am going to be doing p90X every day, and logging my meals and calories.  I will definitely be doing other excercises along with it. 

I am going to take weekly photos of myself, so that I can see if there is any changes occuring, and I will be weighing myself daily. 

I hope that you will enjoy my blog, and I also hope that you will help me, if you see anything I need help with.
